Next Legacy wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was built out of frustration and conviction.
As longtime IT leaders, we saw too many good businesses being underserved. Vendors said yes to everything and delivered nothing. Support teams patched problems but never solved them. And too often, tech became a bottleneck instead of a business driver.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we created it.
Next Legacy exists to flip the script. We’re here to build what works with strategy, automation, AI, and security baked in from the start. We’re not interested in flashy dashboards or fear-based selling. We care about clarity. Follow-through. And helping real people solve real problems with confidence.
We’re both grounded in faith, family, and Midwest grit. We believe technology should serve people, not the other way around. And we’re building a company that proves you don’t have to settle…not for bad support, not for reactive fixes, and not for IT that just gets in the way.
This is more than our business. It’s our legacy.

Meet The Team
We are a security-first Managed Service Provider (MSP) dedicated to protecting and empowering small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) across Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area. By combining advanced technology, strategic expertise, and client-focused service, Next Legacy IT ensures businesses remain secure, connected, and positioned for growth .

I started Next Legacy IT with a clear conviction: business owners deserve more than a break-fix relationship with their technology partner. After years of serving as a Virtual CIO and watching too many teams struggle behind jargon and smoke screens, I launched a company built on integrity, clarity, and follow-through.
I’m a husband, father, and follower of Christ. That perspective shapes how I lead and how I approach technology. I believe IT should help people thrive, not just keep systems running. That means building smarter systems, automating what slows teams down, and giving people the tools to do their best work. If you ask me what gets me out of bed in the morning, it’s helping a business turn IT from a cost center into a growth engine.
My leadership style is optimistic and energetic, with a healthy dose of dad jokes. Whether I’m designing automation playbooks or coaching a client’s team, I bring high standards, a light touch, and a real sense of purpose. When I’m not leading the charge at Next Legacy, you’ll find me biking, lifting, or on the softball field. I’ve been married to my best friend for over 20 years and love spending time with our three kids—especially when I get to beat them at board games or outdoor competitions. I also serve on the tech team at church and stay connected in leadership circles like Legacy Leadership Forum and GAP Men’s Ministry.

I’ve spent my whole life in “The Region,” with the last 26 years in Valpo. After earning my Electrical Engineering degree from Purdue, I started out as an Automation Engineer at a local steel mill—but I didn’t stay in the corporate lane long. My curiosity for advanced tech (and my inability to sit still) pulled me into IT, entrepreneurship, and eventually co-owning a local IT firm for nearly two decades.
Having already built and run an MSP, and later serving as an enterprise vCIO consultant, I’ve seen every flavor of IT strategy—good, bad, and wildly overcomplicated. What I’ve learned is simple: most businesses are underserved by outdated models, bloated tools, and vendors who say yes to everything but deliver very little. That’s never been me.
I’m wired to speak plainly, solve real problems, and do what’s right—even if it’s not what someone wants to hear. That mindset is what led me to partner with Frank Brown and co-found Next Legacy IT. We saw the same gap in the market and felt the same pull to do something better—for our clients, our community, and the future of IT.
Next Legacy is about building something that actually works. It’s about automation, AI, and strategy—not sticker shock and empty dashboards. It’s about service that’s grounded, transparent, and built on mutual respect.
Outside of work, I’m a Purdue grad who somehow became a Michigan fan (yes, it’s confusing), a ‘67 Camaro enthusiast, an animal rescue volunteer, and full-time sidekick to my sweet, stubborn pitbull, Asher. Through all of life’s detours, my Faith’s kept me grounded—and led me right back to where I’m supposed to be.
Here. Building this.
